Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Test Equipment Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in performance testing of products, software development and debugging, and the assembly of test hardware. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to engineers, modifying and building electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will also coordinate multiple activities, read and develop technical documents, and work collaboratively with various departments to maintain efficient production workflows and meet deadlines. What You Will Do: Assist with the performance testing of products for product acceptance. Assist with the software development and debugging of test systems in multiple software tools. Assist in the build of the test hardware. Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment Responsibilities may include testing, modifying, reworking, repairing, and building electronic, optical or mechanical assemblies. Work from standard wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches Capable of performing related manufacturing processes Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials Meet production deadlines Qualifications Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related tech field Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time, and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions Ability to read, and possibly develop, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, and directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and LabVIEW Why You Will Love It Here Immerse yourself in hands-on projects and gain valuable technical experience Explore state-of-the-art equipment and expand your knowledge in a practical setting Collaborate with a dynamic team and build lasting professional relationships Make meaningful contributions to real projects and see your impact firsthand Enjoy a supportive and inspiring environment that fosters growth and innovation Only candidates that meet the qualifications set forth above are eligible to be contacted for further information.
