This particular position is for a TEM operator working a night shift.

• Operate a state-of-the-art TEM in order to image semiconductor samples.
• Protect customer IP through procedure andvigilance.
• Receive and integrate feedback from imaging in service of continuous improvement to the sample preparation process.
• FIB Sample prep will be taken care of by other techs before the samples reach you.

• Experience operatingHRTEM and S/TEM for imaging. Ideal candidates will have performed semiconductor or materials imaging.
• A BS or higher-level degreein a physical science such as Physics or Chemistry.
• Knowledge of the physics involved with FIB/SEM and TEM tools, such as vacuum systems, voltage/current effects, and ion sputtering behavior.
• Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling.
• Experience with TEM sample preparation using a FIB preferred.
• Experience with EDS and EELS preferred.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
