Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered Case Manager to join the Dean of Students Office within the Division of Student Affairs. This position plays a vital role in supporting student success, well-being, and persistence by providing non-clinical case management services and adjudicating student conduct and academic integrity matters.

The Case Manager provides individualized support to students experiencing personal, academic, or behavioral challenges by coordinating appropriate interventions, managing conduct cases, and connecting students with campus and community resources. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail to ensure timely, equitable, and effective responses to student needs. The Case Manager works closely with students, faculty, families, and community partners while contributing to institutional tracking, policy compliance, and data-informed decision making.

  • Provide non-clinical case management and follow-up for students experiencing personal, academic, or behavioral challenges.
  • Adjudicate student conduct and academic integrity cases, including investigation, meetings, resolution, and sanctioning.
  • Serve as a primary contact for students referred through the CARE team, faculty/staff concerns, or self-referral.
  • Conduct intake assessments, develop support plans, and connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.
  • Facilitate conduct conversations focused on education, accountability, and behavioral change.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all case activity in Maxient.
  • Participate in weekly CARE meetings and contribute to formal threat assessments as needed.
  • Communicate with faculty, staff, and families (as appropriate) to coordinate care and clarify conduct procedures.
  • Support data collection and reporting for case tracking, assessment, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to outreach, training, and educational efforts that promote student well-being, success, and campus safety.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree in Higher Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a college/university setting, preferably in student support services or case management.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Familiarity with behavioral intervention teams (BIT), Title IX, and student conduct processes is a plus.
