We are seeking a Senior Software Engineerto join our team for this hybrid opportunity out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary

The Senior Software Engineer works as a member of the software development team responsible for the development of Imprivata's Enterprise Access Management (EAM) client components, which provide Multifactor Authentication and Single Sign-On services for applications. The Senior Software Engineer - EAM Client has knowledge of the Windows application and development, as well as a proven record of delivering products that fully utilize the facilities of the Windows OS. This role leverages our own software and that of Imprivata's partners to bring an efficient and secure application experience to clinicians and providers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop new EAM features in the areas of security, authentication, single sign-on and healthcare workflow enablement. Our Imprivata Endpoint Agent is used by thousands of clinicians all over the world.
  • Design, code and test client-side components in C# and C++ that deliver our entire client experience.
  • Design and code unit and automated tests that allow manual testing to focus high risk areas.
  • Assist QA in qualifying new vendor releases, including APIs, to establish ongoing compatibility with EAM.
  • Working in a scrum team model, be responsible for reviewing possible solutions, scoping, planning and delivering software.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years in software engineering for enterprise applications.
  • Proficient in C# and C++ with solid debugging and Windows (Win32, COM/DCOM) development experience.
  • Skilled in client-server architecture, third-party API/SDK integration, and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Familiar with version control (Perforce, Git), project tools (Jira, Confluence), and capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience integrating with Chrome Enterprise or Island Browser, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills; experience with Linux is a plus.

This position offers a salary range of $152,800.00 to $181,890.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
