Requisition ID req33780 Working Title Communication & Outreach Spec Position Grade 12 Position Summary The Community Engagement & Outreach Specialist plays a key role in advancing the mission of the Office of Community Engagement by developing, coordinating, and supporting partnerships between the university and diverse community stakeholders. This position is responsible for facilitating meaningful dialogue, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring that community engaged initiatives reflect shared values of equity, reciprocity, and impact. The specialist will support both internal and external communication efforts, helping to elevate community voices, foster inclusive participation, and promote awareness of engagement related research, teaching, and service throughout the region. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
