This Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor will support and direct approximately 20 medical assistants (MA) in our Cardiology practice. The responsibility of the Clinical Supervisor includes supervision of staff preforming daily duties, including rooming patients for providers, completing refills, supporting specialty clinics, and performing prior authorizations for specialty medications, scribing, creating intake encounters of patient triage calls, etc.

Summary:

The Supervisor - Clinical RN role is responsible for supervising assigned staff within the assigned work area(s).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred.

2. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain with 30 days of start date.

3. Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.
