Systems Engineer I

The Systems Engineer will work with various departments to create and implement systems software to analyze data to improve existing systems.

Applies systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapon systems
• Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
• Applies system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management
• Defines operational and top-level systems requirements across multiple systems
• Creates a high-level conceptual design
• Defines critical performance measures and analyzes safety features
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education:

• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics Required
• Masters preferred

Experience:

• Six years of experience with a Bachelors required
• Four years of experience with a Masters required
• MBSE experience strongly preferred
• Aircraft experience strongly preferred
• PIF program experience preferred for PIF programs
• DOORS software experience strongly preferred

Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
