Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives across ERP (SAP), PLM (Windchill), and CRM (Salesforce) platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex enterprise projects, with hands-on experience in at least one of these domains and a strong understanding of how they integrate with broader business processes to drive operational excellence and digital transformation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates the ability to work independently when needed, capable of managing several assignments in parallel, and embodies a collaborative, inclusive mindset that aligns with Ingersoll Rand's purpose and core values.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle-from initiation and planning to execution and closure-across SAP, Windchill, or Salesforce platforms.
- Define and align project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and milestone tracking.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and proactive communication.
- Coordinate with internal teams, system integrators and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards.
- Drive change management, training, and adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation and user engagement.
- Provide regular status updates, executive dashboards, and steering committee briefings to ensure alignment and visibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise project management.
- Demonstrated success managing projects involving Enterprise Scale SAP Projects, having led end to end a minimum of three SAP implementations in manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing, engineering, or customer service environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferences:
- Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD, FI/CO), Windchill workflows and data migration, or Salesforce CPQ and Field Service integrations.
- Demonstrated success managing projects involving Windchill PLM or Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with large-scale system conversions or global rollouts.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and SOWs, including offshore and onshore coordination.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
- Remote with 20% domestic/international travel
