Job Summary

#CA-PS

Under the direction of the Director of Ticketing, Marketing & Strategy, the Account Executive, Ticket Sales & Service will be responsible for all aspects of outbound sales and new business generation through the sale of season tickets, mini plans, group tickets, and all other ticket products for all ticketed sports. This is a sales role and will utilize multiple forms of communication to contact B2C and B2B prospects and complete sales.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • No Minimum Education required
  • Experience working in a ticket office, marketing, development, sales or athletic department setting.
  • Computer experience utilizing email, word processing, spreadsheet, calendering, and document management database systems to complete professional assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as demonstrating a positive attitude
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and resolution skills to recognize and solve difficult situations including dissatisfied customers
  • Skills to meet predetermined goals and objectives through effective program/project planning, organization, execution and evaluation
  • Organizational and time management skills to work effectively under frequent deadlines of high volume with careful attention to detail
  • Independently able to take action beyond what is called for

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using Paciolan or other ticketing systems
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience handling cash and credit card data
  • Experience training and supervising staff. Skills to lead and direct work of student staff and to assist with training programs development and delivery

Department Overview

Using experience in intercollegiate athletics and sales, executes a comprehensive outbound ticket sales plan that addresses the identity of the community and alumni base. Responsible for outbound sales and service practices, prospecting, lead generation, data capture, database management, and renewals. Contact prospects via phone, personal visits and presence at community events to identify a prospect's area of interest, and pitch appropriate ticket packages. Responsible for tracking sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for reporting purposes as well as identifying areas that need more focus and emphasis to meet outbound sales goals.
