Overview

How you can make a difference

The Senior Strategy and Analytics Analyst is responsible for supporting company operations and help centralize data and decision making for leadership. Working closely with their director, coordinate with cross-functional business areas to identify potential opportunities to facilitate organizational improvements and success. Drive results by understanding and managing complex business challenges, developing hypotheses, and measuring results while receiving continuous feedback from business partners. This position will assist in leading HealthEquity's transition to a mature, data-driven decision-making organization by leveraging analytic techniques and data visualization. This person will be a key member of the Decision Support team and work closely with partners in Finance and IT to convert data into actionable insights.

What you'll be doing

    Create director to executive level reports, presentations, and analyses to support strategic direction
  • Provide internal consulting and executive support (produce XLT documents, quarterly operating review materials)
  • Work closely with the leadership teams to provide fact-based analytics and decision support using descriptive and predictive analytics techniques
  • Develops, codifies, and monitors key performance indicators for measuring success of new and existing business initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to build actionable plans and recommendations to reduce expenses, maximize revenue, and improve customer and teammate experience, such as identifying phone agent improvement opportunities and optimizing business processes (e.g. AHT management, chat effectiveness)
  • Leverage analytics and story-telling to frame situations in clear and concise documents that provoke discussion and drive action, and share those insights with leaders and partners
  • Creatively help build solutions for capturing insights between disparate systems, optimizing and cleaning existing data sources, and share best practices with other analysts
  • Identifies key data elements needed to advance the firm's data strategy in collaboration with data strategy leaders and teams
  • Develop strategic reporting framework for analyzing the business, ensuring accountability and tracking business results
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, meaningful insights, and overall business implications
  • Takes the lead in defining issues and ideas to be studied as well as the approach (methodological and technical) to be used in addressing studies and projects
  • Demonstrate leadership through functional area expertise and sharing of best practices within an analytical community

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, CS, Economics, or Statistics required; Master's preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting business decision making with reporting & analysis
  • A record of personal and business ethics appropriate for a high-visibility public company with a culture of integrity
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects / deliverables to successful completion across staff with limited direction
  • Able to create compelling data visualizations
  • Advanced excel and SQL skills; Python/R a plus
  • BI tool proficiency preferred (Tableau, or PowerBI)
  • Extensive experience with aggregating, standardizing, interpreting and modeling data quickly
  • Persuasive communicator - demonstrated ability to influence business outcomes through effective storytelling
  • Relationship builder - able to partner with business leaders to drive strategic direction

Salary Range

$75500.00 To $113000.00 / year
