Responsible for extracting and understanding data. IPA and managed care experience understanding CPT and ICD Codes.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Data Analysis: Compile and interpret financial data to aid in decision-making. Contract Analysis: Review and analyze professional and facility contract costs, and recommend improvements. Contract Modeling: Model hospital contract changes for internal and external reporting. Database Management: Oversee the population and accuracy of analytics reporting databases. Automation: Develop scripts and programming logic for process automation and reporting. Provider Support: Assist medical management teams in identifying effective providers using data from various sources. Machine Learning: Create and deploy predictive analytics models using machine learning algorithms. Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract, process, clean, and validate data from multiple sources; analyze for patterns and develop prediction systems. Collaboration: Work with staff to develop and present dashboards/reports to stakeholders; ensure report integrity. Ad-hoc Reporting: Handle ad-hoc reports, analysis, and research requests as needed. *Skills* Business analysis, Health care, Data, Analysis, Business systems analysis, Sql, power bi, python, power query *Top Skills Details* Business analysis,Health care,Data,Analysis,Business systems analysis,Sql,power bi,python,power query *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field. Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (preferred). Experience: 3-4 years in analytics, finance, or the healthcare industry. 4-5 years in predictive analytics and data mining (preferred). Technical Skills: Power Query (preferred). Advanced proficiency in SQL, including advanced joins, subqueries, tables, indexes, and stored procedures. Knowledge in Python or R a plus Soft Skills: Effective communication with all levels of the organization, providers, and others. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask. Collaborative and able to contribute to a cross-functional team. Critical and analytical thinking, creativity, and judgment for problem-solving and goal accomplishment. Ability to derive conclusions from facts or premises. Additional Information: Potential for full or hybrid telecommuting position at the discretion of company Residency in California is required.
