Overview

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a strategic and experienced Lead, EPCR Integration Data Analyst to guide a team of Senior Business Analysts in the development, implementation, and optimization of electronic patient care reporting (EPCR) system integrations. This role will focus on ensuring seamless data exchange for state and national clinical reporting as well as billing and revenue cycle integrations, supporting compliance, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Work closely with the EPCR Technical Manager to lead, mentor, and support a team of Senior Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Coordinate workload distribution, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of integration projects

Integration Strategy & Execution:

  • Oversee the analysis and implementation of EPCR data integrations with external systems including NEMSIS, state/county registries, and billing platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clinical operations, IT, compliance, data management, and finance teams to gather requirements and communicate project progress.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure transparency and alignment on integration initiatives.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline integration processes and enhance data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure all integrations meet regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and state-specific EMS reporting mandates.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration workflows, data mappings, and business requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare systems integration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior analyst role.
  • Strong understanding of EPCR systems (e.g., ESO, ImageTrend), NEMSIS standards, and healthcare billing processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Extensive problem-solving skills and ability to development creative solutions to business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Effectively interact with diverse personalities at all levels within an organization.
  • Adapt to changing job environment.
  • Provide guidance on complex cases.
  • Strong verbal communication, writing, and proofreading skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry; experience with EMS or pre-hospital care systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and quality assurance best practices.
