The Role
Our Deal Team collaborates with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering teams to proactively engage with existing and prospective United States Government and commercial customers. They lead the structuring and discussion of deal terms so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world.
As a member of the Deal Support Team, you will support both United States Government and Commercial Deal Team members as they drive deal execution and support our sales efforts at scale. You will use your expertise to coordinate the formulation of commercial deal terms, and create new and refine existing operating procedures. You'll also apply your understanding of the business landscape to establish relationships with internal partners, manage the pipeline, and increase the visibility of deal progress and forecasting impact across all levels of our organization.
In this role, you will also support various special projects that arise at our fast-paced, mission-focused company. We're a team that values both creativity and partnership. Whether operating solo or collectively, we endeavor to achieve great results on ambitious, time-sensitive deal discussions and projects.
You'll be given open ended objectives and expected to find ways to turn them into outcomes. By focusing on the broad vision without losing sight of the details, you will be critical in ensuring our company strategy is reflected in our commercial dealmaking. You'll deliver complex commercial contract and deal information in an understandable way. You'll also manage high touch collaborators in a constantly shifting landscape. You are ready to become adept on the intricate details that enable Palantir to implement its innovative technology to solve real-world problems.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Palantir's contracting and pricing processes to provide deal structuring and pricing support to Deal Team and Sales counterparts.
  • Draft materials in support of deal discussions, including pricing proposals and order forms.
  • Manage updates and accuracy of the deal pipeline within Salesforce to align financial systems and commercial systems; work with relevant teams to identify and resolve variances.
  • Partner with Finance team to provide leadership with visibility of deal progress and forecasting impact while coordinating the flow of information across multiple teams, including Deal Team, Sales, Legal, Accounting, Finance to facilitate the deal process.
  • Drive adherence to internal controls, processes and business rules to enable growth.

What We Require
  • 5+ years of deal desk or related processes experience, such as sales operations, finance, sales strategy, legal operations, paralegal and sales enablement experience; SaaS or other technology company experience is a definite plus.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet obligations with minimal supervision or administrative support.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $75,000 - $112,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
