Systems Verification engineers serve as the safety net for the entire organization before shipping products to the customer. Our robotics product is an advanced system that integrates hardware, software, firmware and cloud services. This Systems Verification Engineer works with the systems engineers, software product owners, software, and hardware development engineers to drive and lead the test strategy for system verification & validation and execution for new product development.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading and executing system and software verification activities for new product development.
  • Developing and managing test strategies, including integration, robustness, and automation testing.
  • Participating in test-driven design, behavior-driven development (BDD), and AI-assisted test development.
  • Collaborating with systems engineers, software product owners, and hardware teams to ensure testability and system integrity.
  • Authoring verification plans, protocols, test cases, trace matrices, and summary reports.
  • Managing defect tracking and validation using tools like JIRA.
  • Supporting root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system-level issues.
  • Coordinating with a geographically distributed test engineering team.
  • Presenting testing objectives and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Participating in design reviews, FMEAs, and supporting documentation for FDA and EU MDR regulatory submissions.
What will you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Computer Engineering, or a related field, 2+ years of experience with a BS degree, or 1+ year with a Master's degree.
  • Experience developing complex electromechanical products that integrate hardware and software.
  • Strong background in test strategy development and execution, including test automation and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with software development and testing processes in regulated environments.
  • Understanding of quality systems, verification/validation principles, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, LDRA, or similar for test automation and code coverage.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
