Responsible for creative development and production of PGA TOUR content across PGA TOUR platforms. The Content Producer will produce, shoot and/or edit features, teases and vignettes for use across content teams. Responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assigned projects. This position will also work across platforms, producing for linear and digital and will be responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assigned projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
  • Three to five years' experience in production and the ability to oversee production of content from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience in production in the different styles of single and multi-camera shooting, lighting techniques, interviewing and editing of feature material. Experience with non-linear video editing
  • Experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming
  • Strong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, including best practices, success metrics, and creating content for X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other current and emerging platforms
  • Strong background in golf content preferred; interest in golf required
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spelling
  • Commitment to a high-quality work product that meets and exceeds brand and fan standards
  • Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, a 2, 4, and 6 passenger golf cart/utility cart with other passengers and production equipment
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and best practices related to both traditional and digital content consumption

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Coordinates various content groups while identifying stories that reinforce PGA TOUR messaging
  • Produce content by utilizing research, writing and editing skills
  • Produce/lead features, shows and/or projects by utilizing research, writing and editing skills
  • Produce and direct field shoots as required with PGA TOUR players, stakeholders, sponsors, etc.; conduct interviews and obtain necessary footage to incorporate into assigned project(s)
  • Shoot and edit features and/or other content as a solo camera op and editor for various projects/platforms as assigned
  • Assist in overall content capture on-site at tournaments when pre-tournament & post round interviews are not in progress, including but not limited to, walk and talk interviews, sit down interviews, tournament action, etc.
  • Oversees on-site content gathering by working with various teams to ensure the required on-site content is captured and distributed to specific stakeholders internally and externally
  • Create engaging content from concept to completion before, during and after tournaments for use on PGA TOUR digital platforms
  • Responsible for overseeing the creative execution of assigned shows and/or projects by establishing feature ideas, show rundowns, writing and reviewing scripts and directing staff during field shoots
  • Manage and supervise production teams in the daily planning and execution of all assigned programs and/or projects
  • Work with talent on voice over session and on-camera material
  • Manage team, and its work, daily; work with supervisors to maintain budgets
  • Develop lines of communication and relationships with various PGA TOUR departments to ensure efficient execution of projects
  • May be responsible for setup, oversight (shipping), and operation of live pool cameras and web conferencing software at PGA TOUR events for pre-tournament and post round interviews. The operator should be proficient in the use of LiveU bonded cellular units as well as live camera, audio, and lighting
  • May be responsible for gathering and distributing all pre-tournament press conferences and all post round interviews at PGA TOUR events via bonded cellular hardware
  • Facilitate requests in real time with on-site staff and communicate with in-house producers on player targets in English and Native Language(s), if applicable (foreign language skills a plus but not required)
  • May assist with on-site editing of Video News Reels and other content for global distribution
  • Uses golf knowledge and creativity to conceptualize and pitch content ideas
  • Ability to travel multiple weeks in a row
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
