In this pivotal executive role, you will oversee a large diverse team, guiding the development, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions and enhancements, and for creating technology roadmaps that align organizational objectives with emerging technological trends. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring efficient service capabilities and driving the organization's success. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leadership and management, a deep understanding of technology development and implementation, exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and the capacity to formulate and execute strategic plans, coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The work model for the role is #LI-Hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for: * Ensure security is a key priority for all IS systems, driving timely patching and strong operational processes that protect the enterprise. * Maintain standards aligned with global framework requirements to support systems compliance and key risk and security controls. * Plan and deliver within the budget, establishing management controls that ensure delivery of key objectives while maintaining operations, driving a "no surprises" culture. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, influencing their strategic product roadmaps to benefit ABB. * Manage the validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with relevant IS delivery organizations, ensuring key business needs are met within the agreed delivery timeframe. * Collaborate with key stakeholders and users to maintain, develop, and deploy cost-effective IS solutions/services to drive desired business value and outcomes. * Implement an effective team structure and resourcing strategy that optimizes delivery capability, improves service, increases delivery, and reduces costs. * Recruit, motivate, and develop a customer-focused IS team, establishing a culture that embraces responsibility, accountability, values teamwork, encourages diversity, and delivers performance-based outcomes. Qualifications for the role * Bachelors degree and 20+ years IS experience in technologies supporting distribution as well as 10+ years of supervisory experience or High school diploma and 25+ years IS experience in technologies supporting distribution and 15+ years of supervisory experience. * Senior IS leadership experience, including demonstrated examples of management through influence and collaboration in complex, multi-site global environments. * A senior leader who has repeatedly implemented technology solutions that solve critical business problems, delivering with exceptional quality, on-time and within the established budget. Specific experience with the Blue Yonder solution suite a plus. * Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle. * A delivery focused leader who has demonstrated the ability to establish technical direction, collaborate across global teams, and drive action through influence to deliver critical projects/programs while ensuring continuous operation. * Solid experience as a change leader, preferably with experience instituting new, global processes and tools. * Ability to travel up to 25% (regional and global travel) and 50+% if not located in a designated core site.
