This Position reports to:

EL Commercial Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Each day, you will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and managing the annual warehouse budget.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Dallas, TX area.

You will be mainly accountable to:

  • Manage the annual warehouse budget and operates within the approved budget.
  • Manage the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determines corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.
  • Manage relationship with stakeholders (e.g. 3PL, Sales, Marketing, Feeder plants, etc.)
  • Improve warehouse operations through the use of lean practices.
  • Plan and optimize warehouse utilization and inventory.
  • Plan and monitor the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeps stock control systems up to date.
  • Oversee stock control and processes orders.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred with 10+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a similar role within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Proficiency in material planning software and ERP systems, SAP preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience leading a team, budget & performance management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategy Implementation
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP (preferred).
Ability to build relationships, speak/present effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees comprised of various levels of personnel, from senior executives to facility personnel.
Ability to travel ~50% of time
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
