CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Cloud Architect Lead to join our talented Information Technology team. You will be responsible for planning and executing programs from a Cloud perspective and mentoring team members.

How you'll create opportunities as a Cloud Architect Lead

  • Design and develop a scalable cloud infrastructure solution.
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Executes the planning of projects and programs from a Cloud prospect ensuring they meet business requirements, security standards and deadlines
  • Responsible for the automation and optimization of infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management processes.
  • Ensure cloud environments adhere to best practices for security, compliance, and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute cloud architecture and strategies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Mentor and guide team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive architecture designs, processes, and standards.
  • Responsible for staying current with industry trends for solution development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize potential new solutions that align with strategic goals.
  • Develop and present proposals for new cloud-based solutions to executive leadership.

What you will need:

* 6+ years relevant experience in the technology space with 2+ years working in Cloud Engineering

* Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training in lieu of a degree

Technical Competencies:

Proficiency in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Security, Linux, Python or Bash scripting, PowerShell, Docker, Git, DevOps, Spacelift
