Job Description

Make a Real Difference When It Matters Most

Are you passionate about helping people through their toughest moments? Join our dedicated team as a Mobile Crisis Specialist II, where you'll respond to individuals in mental health crisis-either out in the community or onsite at University Health Emergency Department and clinics.

What You'll Do:

* Provide fast, focused mental health support to individuals in crisis

* Help people avoid unnecessary hospital stays or justice system involvement

* Work closely with a compassionate, skilled team to assess and stabilize situations

* Connect clients with the right resources and next steps for recovery

What You Need:

* A Master's degree (or higher) in social work, counseling, psychology, family therapy, or a related field

* MO LMSW (if you're a social worker)

* If working in Behavioral Health Inpatient: BLS certification required

* Solid understanding of psychiatric terms, diagnoses, and crisis intervention

* Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

* Good judgment and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

* Willingness to complete training and meet driving requirements if applicable

* Experience working with diverse populations

* Familiarity with community mental health systems, crisis intervention, and relevant laws (like civil commitment and guardianship)
