Project Manager, Infrastructure PMO

Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange is currently seeking a highly talented Project Manager, Infrastructure. This individual will work directly with global infrastructure resource team leads to ensure the successful completion of projects. The team is comprised of entrepreneurial and highly experienced individuals and we are looking for someone with strong people skills that can excel at delivery and drive change!

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute delivery of complex network technology infrastructure projects
• Develop project work plans specifying goals, responsibilities, scheduling, risks, and contingency plans
• Facilitate communication across multiple functional organizations, technology, teams, vendors, and finance
• Create cross-functional project plans that include scope definition, schedules, stakeholder identification, resourcing, communication plans and risk analysis.
• Work with internal and external customers to manage, set and communicate delivery expectations
• Create business cases, product roadmaps, and requirements documentations as necessary
• Project and portfolio reporting across all levels of the organization from detailed project activities to sponsors and executives

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or IT/Engineering degrees preferred)
• Minimum 5 years work experience with infrastructure projects with at least 3 years of specialized project management in network and/or connectivity projects
• Previous experience with datacenter moves, builds or consolidation; experience working across different regions and countries is a strong benefit
• Telecommunications experience - working with multiple circuit providers for different bandwidth and technology circuits; global experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven experience delivering to multiple stakeholders, negotiating priorities and changes in a dynamic and high pressure environment
• Strong project management skills (time and organization)
• Proven ability to apply standardized project control mechanisms such as planning and project progress tracking / control, estimating, logic analysis, resource planning and allocation, issue and risk management
• Experience with process mapping and/or improvement across engineering teams
• Ability to self-start effectively with ambiguity and varying levels of detail
• Service Provider experience, delivering or overseeing deliveries to customers is a strong plus
• Financial industry experience is also a plus; particularly working within regulated entities (exchanges, banks)
