R&D Project Evaluator Lead

The R&D (Research & Development) Evaluator Lead is responsible for a group of individuals thar works to develop future product proposal resource requirements for project approvals. This group works with the Planning and Engineering teams to align the proposed vehicle attributes with the labor and validation means required

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • The Evaluator Lead works with the Planning and Engineering teams to align the proposed vehicle attributes with the labor and validation means required
  • Guarantees the source, the quality, and the consistency of data
  • Leads the creation and presentation of the Economic Advice documents for all investment (R&D and CapEx)
  • The Evaluator Lead works with Corporate wide organizations, to analyze opportunities and converge on an investment proposal for approval
  • The Lead is responsible for loading and maintaining the project contract within Airflow system and all associated KPIs
  • The R&D Evaluator Lead must effectively support the deadlines leading up to each Corporate Governance approval event

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Finance from an ABET accredited university
  • 10 years of professional experience in Engineering or Finance, preferably in Engineering Program Management, vehicle integration and/or validation
  • Whole vehicle product awareness, product development process and the different engineering cost types knowledge is a differential
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Self-starter, innovative, and team oriented
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, process driven
  • Familiarity with finance terminology
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to present ideas and concepts successfully to all levels of management
  • Ability to productively manage change
  • Data analysis experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2 Years experience in supervisory position
