Ophir, a part of LightRidge Solutions, is a leader in highly capable remote lidar sensors for austere environments. We have over 30 years of experience designing, developing, manufacturing and servicing advanced lidar products to solve our military and commercial customers' most challenging remote-sensing needs. Position Summary The Integration and Test Engineer (internal level "2") designs, implements, and executes tests to ensure product quality and functionality. This position will prepare for and conduct the data collections and analysis to report functional status and results. The Integration and Test Engineer will participate in technical reviews and identify opportunities for test process improvements of aerospace quality lidar systems. This role requires technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform test assignments involving definition of test and verification requirements, plans and sequences relative to complex systems and resolve conflicting issues.
- Support test programs including establishing test methods and techniques, developing test plans, developing test requirements, writing test procedures/reports and conducting tests.
- Participate in test readiness reviews, design reviews and conduct audits of test programs.
- Utilize knowledge of test engineering methods and apply understanding of principles of related engineering technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
- Participate in failure review boards and make recommendations for regression testing.
- Establish and assist in overseeing performance of qualification program plans, on and off site functional and environmental tests, engineering analyses, inspections and demonstration events.
- Assist in driving test projects to closure per program schedule requirements.
- Assist in determining appropriate verification methods and success criteria to effectively manage product quality and compliance.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Support/Perform Technician functional duties, as needed.
- Ability to support on-site work, as needed.
- Ability to support travel or off-site work, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or Physics and 2+ years of experience; or Master of Science and 2+ years of experience; In lieu of a degree a minimum of 6 years of experience
- Experience authoring and executing test plans, procedures and reports
- Knowledge of aerospace electronics/mechanical testing, environmental testing, and electro-optics
- Understanding of aerospace industry regulations, compliance requirements, and knowledge of industry-specific testing standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Proficient in all MS Office products including MS Visio and MS Project
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- An active U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Clearance. Current SSBI is preferred.

- Work primarily in office, lab, or testing environments.
Physical Activities:
- Sitting, Standing, Kneeling, Bending, Twisting, and lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
