SAF Holland / Haldex, in Marion, NC is now accepting applications for an Assembler position.
This position performs sub-assembly and final assembly of various heavy duty truck products from their component parts. Duties & Responsibilities * Perform sub-assembly and final assembly of various products using a variety of pneumatic tools, hand tools and specialized machinery * Test sub-assemblies and finished assemblies as per specifications and/or supervisor's instructions using a variety of test procedures including electronic testers as well as manually operated testers. * Visually inspect parts for defects such as burrs, nicks, cracks, stripped threads, etc. * Place finished product in containers and boxes as required * Move tote boxes, trays, bins and other types of containers as required * Adhere to plant Safety Program and policies * Perform counts as required * Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment * Understand and actively participate in Haldex Way activities * Perform other duties as required by supervisor Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
