Overview

Amyx is seeking an experienced Progam Manager to lead critical software and hardware deployment initiatives in the Ft. Meade, MD area. The ideal candidate will apply project management best practices to manage complex engineering projects while building strong, trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams. This role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record of aligning project execution with business objectives and customer expectations.

The Program Manager will oversee program/project timelines/milestones, lead status meetings, and ensure the timely submission of all deliverables. They will manage program tasks and processes in compliance with agency, DoD, NIST, and industrial security guidelines, standards, and requirements.

This position is 100% on-site and requires occasional travel to industrial environments and customer locations within a 50-mile radius.



Responsibilities

Lead and manage full project life cycle, applying project management principles and industry best practices (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, communication, stakeholder management).
Foster strong customer relationships, acting as a primary point of contact to ensure satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to build consensus, manage expectations, and facilitate communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate cross-functional software engineering teams, ensuring clear priorities, responsibilities, and deliverables.
Oversee software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Prepare and deliver executive-level project status updates and progress reports.
Maintain alignment between project goals and organizational strategy, ensuring value delivery to customers.* Work with local OT personnel on any cybersecurity issues network, software or system.
Communicate, coordinate, and cybersecurity, implementation, and software deployment project meetings and briefings.
Serve as a key point-of-contract for customer and technical resources to remove roadblocks and keep project schedule on-track.
Ensure compliance with changing DoD requirements.

Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

MS Project or similar project management tools
MS Office, Teams, Sharepoint



Qualifications

Required:

* Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
* 10+ years of experience managing large complex projects; 15 years supporting GovCon customers
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent from an accredited institution

Desired:

* DOD Experience
* Experience working with highly technical teams in a secured environment and/or SCIF
* Familiarity with AI productivity tools and appropriate application to facilitate project efficiencies, documentation, and presentations
* Experience or training in Operational Technology (OT) and Software/Hardware deployment is a plus
