QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 5+ years of work experience in software development, engineering, testing, or a related field.
- Alternative Requirement: Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in software development, engineering, testing, or a related field required.
- 5+ years' of professional experience with Python programming
- 5+ years' working in a Linux environment
- 5+ years' using Git / Gitlab for version control.
- 4+ years' work experience with Jenkins and other continuous integration tools
- 4+ years' with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- 3+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Salt Stack.
- 3+ years of experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Packer.
- 3+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Icinga, or Prometheus.
- 3+ years of experience with Vault or Consul.
Any experience with all of the following:

- Pipeline Improvement: Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and process optimization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Designs and develops software for enterprise services. Responsibilities may include: Translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs; providing estimates for development effort; implementing proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software; creating unit and acceptance tests; coordinating sign- off from QA/Test; automating deployment; and assisting Operations and Support staff in trouble-shooting software issues, as well as implementing bug fixes. Telecommuting is an option for this position.
