We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in an analyst or specialist position in Clarksville, Tennessee, as part of our new North American production site!

General Summary

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for achieving a zero accident rate through electrical related planning, execution, observation, training and documentation of environmental, safety, fire prevention and health-related laws and regulations. In the position you will also be responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and its permitting applications. You will focus on finding opportunities to reduce environmental, safety and health liabilities while providing leadership in the development of responsible programs that represent our culture. Plan and administer training and awareness programs in environmental and safety prevention and protection, and other regulatory issues.

Responsibilities



  • Plan and manage electrical projects to improve or maintain UT facilities to prevent any electrical shortage incidents
  • Co-work with Energy Facility staffs and UT organization including operators and facility maintenance workers
  • Oversee facility and project financial performance, accounts receivables, work in progress, budget preparations, variance reports and reforecast budgets
  • Stable supply for electricity to production line and support any electrical request from Manufacturing department
  • Prepare and review operating budget reports for all properties
  • Require expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solution
  • Proactively plan for operational impacts on vendor and partners with internal business stakeholders and vendor to ensure successful performance management, , effectively planning for plant closures, shut downs, annual budget season
  • Develop strategies to reduce administrative costs and gain operational efficiency
  • Performs as required special projects or assignments from HQ or other departments at plant
  • Manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines
  • Take initiative with minimum consultation, the ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines


Qualifications



  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering and electrical facility management
  • Required Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field
  • Preferred electrical engineering related skills, advanced degree (Master), and certificates like PE
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and Korean will be a plus.
  • Must be proficient in using a computer with applicable software, including power point, word processing, spreadsheet software, and a drawing software like AutoCAD
