Job Description

The Senior Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the Marketing organization by identifying high-impact opportunities, framing complex business challenges, and facilitating enhanced decisioning by providing data-driven insights. This individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy, bringing strategic foresight and thought leadership to both enterprise-wide initiatives and function-specific priorities. In addition to rigorous analysis and structured problem solving, the Senior Strategy Manager will be expected to influence senior stakeholders, contribute to long-term strategic planning, and proactively surface emerging issues and opportunities. This role is ideal for a seasoned strategist who thrives in ambiguity, connects the dots across the enterprise, and is looked to as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and framing of enterprise-level challenges, using advanced analysis and stakeholder engagement to shape strategic priorities

  • Drive the development and testing of hypotheses that inform high-stakes decisions, ensuring recommendations are grounded in both data and strategic context

  • Leverage financial benchmarking and scenario modeling to present leadership with a range of forward-looking scenarios that reflect potential operating environments

  • Influence strategic dialogue by delivering executive-level communications that shape decision-making and align stakeholders

  • Act as a senior thought partner, contributing to the strategic agenda, mentoring junior team members, and shaping the team's knowledge base and analytical toolkit

  • Anticipate market shifts and competitor moves, proactively identifying emerging trends and translating them into strategic implications for the business

  • Drive enterprise alignment by connecting departmental initiatives to broader business objectives and ensuring strategic coherence across functions

  • Build and maintain a strong network of internal influencers, using these relationships to surface insights, align stakeholders, and accelerate execution

  • Author strategic position papers and executive briefings that shape leadership dialogue and inform long-term planning

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree; fields with a quantitative bent (e.g. Economics, Finance, etc.) preferred

  • 7-12 years of experience in strategy roles, including time in management consulting or corporate strategy

  • Experience influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise-level initiatives

  • Insurance industry experience strongly preferred

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 187,625.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
