We are actively hiring a skilled Rental Equipment Counter Sales Representative at our Houston branch, located at 6600 Long Drive. If you're customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to grow your career at a respected CAT dealership.

What You'll Do as a Rental Equipment Counter Sales Representative:

• Assist customers in person and by phone to identify the right rental equipment
• Coordinate the rental process from order to return with attention to accuracy and service
• Support Outside Sales Representatives to complete customer transactions
• Dispatch haul trucks for delivery and pickup of equipment
• Manage contracts and billing through our internal systems
• Use available tools and resources to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• College degree in Business, Management, Technical, or related field preferred
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal, written, phone, in-person)
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Mechanical aptitude to understand customer equipment needs

Preferred Experience:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery
• Familiarity with rental applications in construction, pipeline, or industrial settings
