DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will be responsible for administrative and supervisory duties related to the clinical services provided for the adjudicated youth committed to Loysville Youth Development Center. In this position, you will provide oversight and direction of the clinical services for the habilitation, rehabilitation, and social development for court-committed, adjudicated delinquent youth. Your duties will include reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and continuously developing the overall clinical treatment programs, as well as adhering to institutional (BJJS) and Department of Human Services policies and procedures. Additionally, you will oversee and supervise employees in both a supervisory and non-supervisory capacity. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
- Travel is required. Overtime as needed
- You must be willing to accept employment at Loysville Youth Development Center and commute to this location in Perry County.
- Free parking!
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or a Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation and/or behavioral dysfunction.

- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
