The Target Pay Range for this position is $25.67-$31.30 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.11-$37.07 hourly. From application to funding, you'll ensure every loan experience is smooth, accurate, and aligned with BECU's values. You'll make a real difference by guiding members through the lending process with expertise and empathy-transforming complex details into streamlined, stress-free solutions. Your role empowers you to make each interaction meaningful while contributing to a mission-driven team that values your growth and success. This role is a hybrid role. This role requires 2-3 days onsite at Tukwila Financial center and remaining days remote. This role requires working Saturday shifts on rotation. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Champion Compliance and Protection: Align every task with BECU's competencies and compliance requirements, keeping information safe and secure at all times. Master Lending Knowledge: Use your thorough understanding of loan policies, state and federal lending regulations, and agency requirements to confidently guide each loan process. Clear Underwriting Conditions: Collaborate with members, branch staff, and underwriters to finalize approvals and clear conditions efficiently. Perfect Application Reviews: Ensure loan applications are accurate, scored properly, and calculations are complete before moving to closing. Navigate Vendor Coordination: Work professionally with external vendors to clear all necessary collateral conditions to move loans forward. Analyze with Precision: Review and interpret a variety of financial and collateral documents-like income verifications, insurance binders, and titles-to evaluate loan acceptability. Lead the Funding Process: Complete loan funding and disbursement tasks while preparing all documentation for member signatures. Manage Workflows: Keep your queues and inboxes organized and up to date to meet service level expectations with speed and care. Handle Complexity with Confidence: Juggle multiple loans in different stages while fielding member calls and internal inquiries like a pro. Build Member Relationships: Connect with members, dealers, and Marine Title Companies to finalize terms and coordinate signing appointments. Ensure Flawless Closings: Conduct post-closing reviews to ensure documentation is properly executed and all closing conditions are fulfilled. Stay Product-Savvy: Maintain strong knowledge of BECU's loan products, pricing, and required documentation for each loan type. Safeguard Loan Integrity: Ensure documentation is thorough, security is adequate, and that each loan is in the Credit Union's best interest. Offer Insightful Alternatives: Evaluate loan options and guide members toward the best product fit when alternatives are more suitable. Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service while resolving issues with care and follow-through. Understand the Bigger Picture: Maintain general knowledge of how various departments at BECU interact with the Consumer Loan team. Step Up as Needed: Take on additional tasks that contribute to the team's success and support BECU's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business, or equivalent work or educational experience required. Minimum one year experience in Consumer Lending required. Verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and provide customer service. PC skills, with the ability to learn new software. Math and basic accounting skills. Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing job responsibilities. Thorough knowledge of all RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, and ECOA rules and regulations.
