Description

The Corporate Deposit Specialist is responsible for supporting the Relationship Managers (RM) to consistently grow the portfolio of clients by enhancing the satisfaction of our clients by providing high level customer service through timely and accurate product implementation, communication, coordination and processing. This position is responsible for providing support and making recommendations for a broad range of financial products including but not limited to treasury management service and depository services. Familiar with a variety of the banking/financial concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Ensures excellent internal and external client relations at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Retain satisfied clients by assisting with day to day banking needs, providing clients with a point of contact within the bank for their deposit needs.
  • Identifies opportunities and proactively makes calls to customers to enhance their financial position.
  • Generates business needs to assist in meeting business office profitability.
  • Ensure client receives an update within one hour and a satisfactory resolution within 24 hours.
  • Assist with onboarding clients as requested.
  • Gather and review necessary new account & account modification documents from clients in collaboration with RM and/or ARM.
  • Review new account documents, gather signatures, and complete the new account process for commercial, business, and retail clients.
  • Collaborates with clients and/or RM/ARM team to see if they need additional services (debit card, checks, online banking/cash management). Work with respective departments to ensure products and services needed have been requested and fulfilled.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge with the ability to answer detailed questions from RMs and clients as well as educate on best products and services for client.
  • Create CSR tickets to document any maintenance performed and submit CSR tickets to respective departments for new accounts, account maintenance, account services or inquiries.
  • Gather KYC information from client and enter in Verafin.
  • Review new and existing CIFs to household/parent in Salesforce.
  • Ensure that all client services and product processing activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal, and governmental regulations. Work with corporate compliance and deposit operations to ensure conformity with bank policies, procedures and Federal and State regulations and laws.
  • Research client requests - centralize inquiries working between service departments and following up with client for disposition.
  • Problem solving skills to consistently improve the overall client experience.
  • Adhere to all Texas Partners Bank policies, procedures and regulatory and training requirements, regulatory, legal and governmental regulations.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
  • At least 3 years banking experience.
  • Loan processing experience is a benefit.
  • Sales or referral experience is useful.
