FTE: 1.0 (40 Hours), Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday

Position Summary

The Supervisor of Perioperative Scheduling is responsible for daily operations of Perioperative Scheduling to ensure efficient business operations and data integrity of patient information as it relates to surgery coordination and patient data entry. The incumbent will perform all supervisory duties in consultation with the manager or director; identify and resolve day to day technical and operational problems; assist with system-wide maintenance and build decisions; manage surgical scheduling transitions; serves as the liaison between surgeon offices and the Perioperative Scheduling Department; and reports on Operating Room utilization, case volume variances, and other relevant KPIs to meet organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field or two (2) years of applicable work experience
  • Two (2) years of medical office/perioperative scheduling experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Three (3) years of experience in an Operating Room environment highly preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $64,509.00 - $92,851.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
