NTS/HCM Strategy & Delivery Program Director

SUMMARY: The NTS/HCM Strategy & Delivery Program Director is a senior leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of programs and solutions within BankUnited's diverse strategic NTS and HCM business units which align with revenue driven objectives. This role focuses on advocating for the business unit's needs with integrated strategic initiatives, managing resources effectively, production/operations, and ensuring successful program delivery. The NTS/HCM Strategy and Delivery Program Director advocates for the interests of the business while acting as a strategic thought partner working with IT Teams, Vendor partners, Banking Operations, Project Managers, and other Senior Leadership Teams to ensure the best possible delivery throughout the lifecycle of the business unit's program specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Strategy Development:
  • Formulating and implementing program strategies, aligning them with business segments organizational and revenue objectives.
  • Program Management:
  • Advocating and overseeing the entire program from initiation to closure, including contracting, resource allocation, risk management, quality assurance, and post-production metrics.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Working closely with various teams throughout the BankUnited enterprise to ensure seamless program delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
  • Tracking program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship:
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Risk & Change Management:
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact program delivery. Leading and supporting organizational changes related to program delivery.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement:
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, team members, and partners. Maintain strong vendor relationships, and continuously monitor performance, support contracting to ensure clear expectations, compliance, and legal protection.
  • Sales and Client Support:
  • Providing assistance/resources to the NTS & HCM sales team throughout sales cycle and client management processes, including various activities like training, data analysis, process optimization, and providing tools to enhance sales performance.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
