We are looking for a Remarketing Lead, Midwest Region to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Remarketing Lead, you will be responsible for the sale of all assets in the region's territory, maintaining departmental standards in pricing (Black Book/FMV, Days to pick up, Days to Sell, Retail consignment success). You will reside in the Midwest region, have established strong relationships within the Midwest auction territory, and travel 50% of the time to auctions and events.

A Day in the Life

  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain networks of new and used vehicle suppliers
  • Enable adherence to all Element policies and procedures through negotiations to facilitate vehicle sales through all sales channels to achieve the highest price in the shortest time for Element and our clients. Respond to client inquiries as appropriate
  • Provide analysis and input regarding market performance/indicators and subject matter expertise regarding vehicle valuations
  • Responsible for sale of all assets in region/territory, maintaining department standards in pricing (Black Book/FMV, Days to pick up, Days to Sell, Retail consignment success)
  • Partner where relevant with Remarketing Operations teams to facilitate execution of vehicle sales
  • Hosting client events at auctions to support the sales team

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in an vehicle auction or remarketing environment
  • Ability to travel, by car, within assigned territory (Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio) 50% of the time

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Knowledge of the new and used vehicle sales industry
  • Knowledge of vehicle sales processes and procedures, and other departments that interact with those processes preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion and good judgment to respond to all requests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Demonstrated ability to function as an independently contributing team member to broader team, and sales goals
  • Ability to build and maintain a solid working knowledge of Element internal systems (Mainframe, Interactive, R2RA Workflow)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and expand business knowledge in the Fleet and Automotive Industries
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated negotiations skills
  • PC competency including Outlook, Word, and Excel

The hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
