We're seeking a future team member for the role of Marketing Planning & Operations Manager to join our Corporate Marketing & Communications team. This role is located in New York, NY - Hybrid. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the quarterly and annual planning process for marketing and communication programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience needs while creating a clear roadmap for execution.
- Design and scale planning playbooks and intake processes that map requests to priorities, audiences and value drivers
- Establish planning metrics, reporting cadences, and dashboard that provide visibility into campaign timelines, readiness, resource usage and performance indicators
- Align capacity and resources by partnering with cross-functional leaders - digital, creative, content, social, etc., to enable effective execution
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Proven experience in marketing or campaign planning and operations with strong strategic exercise design skills
- Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Workfront) but more important is your ability to model and implement process, intake and reporting frameworks
- Track record leading cross-functional planning, capacity alignment and roadmap management across 5+ teams or channels
- Data-savvy: ability to build or interpret dashboards and adapt plans based on insights
- Highly organized with a planning-first mindset - critical for ensuring clarity in campaign timing and handoffs, and decision-making
- 10+ years of marketing operations, planning or integrated marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree required

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $138,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
