TENNCARE LTSS PROGRAM COORDINATOR Division of TennCare Long Term Services & Support (LTSS) Nashville, TN Salary: Minimum Monthly Salary $4,017/month. Who we are and what we do:

TennCare is Tennessee's managed care Medicaid program that provides health insurance coverage to certain groups of low-income individuals such as pregnant women, children, caretaker relatives of young children, older adults, and adults with physical disabilities. TennCare provides coverage for approximately 1.7 million Tennesseans and operates with an annual budget of approximately $14 billion. It is run by the Division of TennCare with oversight and some funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). TennCare's mission is to improve the lives of Tennesseans by providing high-quality cost-effective care. Job Overview:

"The TennCare LTSS Program Coordinator will be a critical part of the Systems Support Team within Operations in the LTSS division of TennCare. This is a team of highly technical and capable business minded individuals and will report directly to the Director of Operational Innovation and Technology."

Key Responsibilities:

  • "Serve a point of contact for the LTSS renewals process
  • Respond to and track inquiries from both internal and external partners, providing responses timely and appropriately.
  • Review and distribute generated reports
  • Responsible for ensuring data within the Pre-admission Evaluations and Referrals for Long-term Services and Supports (PERLSS) medical eligibility determination system maintains a high level of integrity and accuracy.
  • Reviews records in PERLSS through tasks correcting errors or issues which then allow the record to move forward to determination and notice generation.
  • Utilize a variety of computer systems and databases in the support of the LTSS medical eligibility determination process.
  • Must be able to work data quality tasks in the Master Data Management through to resolution and work tasks in the Data Steward Queue in PERLSS that are created by LTSS staff, partners and supervisors.
  • Correct person demographics if appropriate in source systems and take necessary actions to complete a merge or unmerge if necessary.
  • Oversee the member notice auditing processes and team.
  • Oversee and process review of individual record data to ensure accuracy, quality and applicable system triggers are set to generate correct applicant notices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred: business administration, management, public health, health policy, paralegal, or legal studies) and 2 years of relevant work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong research skills including the ability to locate and analyze documents and integrate information from multiple sources.
  • Detail oriented with a strong ability to recognize and resolve data issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required in order to foster and maintain cohesive working relationships.
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage workload to meet specific timeframes and deadlines.
  • Ability to audit data and operational/systematic processes.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • 3 years relevant Medicaid experience with at least 1 of those years in LTSS and/or Home and Community Based Services.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including ability to prioritize.
  • Good communication skills and can easily adapt communication style to the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motived with ability to work well on a team.
  • Active listener, responsive to the needs of internal and external customers.
