Responsibilities

Creative Services is the in-house creative solutions partner for State Farm and we are seeking an experienced, innovative Media Engineer to champion the application of emerging technologies to ensure quality, integration and compliance across multiple environments that may include the following: acquisition, broadcast, post-production, studios, facilities and transmission. Our team is a mix of strategic thinkers and creative minds who love to collaborate with business partners to support their business and communication strategies with highly creative solutions.

The Media Engineer understands how media production applications interconnect across platforms and how they impact our associates and end users. Collaborating across business areas, you develop holistic technical solutions to ensure quality, integration and compliance across multiple environments and lead integration, installation and upgrades of media production technologies.

This role is a Hybrid work arrangement located only in Bloomington, Illinois. Working virtually and in-person is required. Weekends are occasional. Relocation benefits are not provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs video production equipment
  • Maintains & repairs production equipment
  • Executes preventative maintenance measures
  • In-depth knowledge of video production best practices & techniques
  • Monitoring & matching multi-camera production video levels to ensure standards are met
  • Manage large volumes of recorded data assets, prep, and transport for post-production
  • Understanding of all aspects of film-style video production, including various lighting schemes
  • The ability to work virtually and in-person
  • The ability to handle logistics with large volumes of equipment, planning accordingly
  • The ability to manage, maintain, and update a large inventory of equipment
  • The ability to lift heavy equipment up to 60 lbs.
  • Occasional weekend work assignments
  • Occasional business travel via commercial transportation

  • Potential starting salary range: $78,081.25 - $121,900
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
