Electrical Wholesalers Inc., an affiliate of USESI, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Plymouth, MA location.
Function: Primarily responsible for interfacing with customers to process orders and inquires through quoting product prices, providing delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where applicable. May be assigned to one or more sales representatives, providing sales support and customer service for specific customers. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processes telephone orders by quoting product, prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
- Assist with the counter sales team as needed.
- Assists outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information.
- Participates in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
- Gains familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods.
- Performs project management on job quotes and open orders.
- Provides follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales.
- Keep queues as clean as possible and up to date.
- After successful completion of the training period and with management's approval, the role can change to a hybrid environment.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

- Experience working with credit departments to address customer credit matters professionally.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and consistently meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Solar ERP is a plus.
- Quick learner of vendor lighting, gear products, and related software, with the ability to apply knowledge in a practical setting.
- High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Physically capable of lifting and transporting materials up to 25 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting beyond that weight.
