The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Operational Excellence Program Manager to join our team as a member of our growing Platform Construction division. This is a strategic position to help grow our construction department. You will be responsible for driving substantial gains in Service field operational efficiency through improved workflows and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Streamlining

  • Find cost-saving and efficiency gains to demonstrate positive ROI against the cost of the role and added overhead.

  • Increase "Revenue per Tech" KPI to meet annual business plan goals and increase "First-Time-Fix-Rate" KPI to meet annual business plan goals.

  • Streamlining tasks by reducing waste and costs.

  • Leverage LEAN and Six-Sigma approaches as you conduct gap/process/workflow analysis to improve field operational efficiency.

Communication

  • Ability to demonstrate how to find commonality within groups and understand how to motivate people through change.

  • Work closely with our service organization to ensure technicians are focusing on their key technical work.

  • Engage with stakeholders to leverage cross-functional expertise, develop understanding, build consensus and manage change.

  • Work closely with the service management team and field leaders to develop and implement remote support platforms for field team members that will focus on leveraging the expertise of experience staff to support and develop other team members.

What we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in optimization/efficiency/standards/process development preferred
  • LEAN certification, Six-Sigma Green Belt or similar certification, or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, with good listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with people at all levels required
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to lead diverse project teams required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and Salesforce preferred.

The pay range for this position is $68,310- $114,500 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
