THE JOB: As a Starbucks Barista, you are doing more than just crafting specialty drinks and coffees, you are brewing up heart-felt connections with our guests! By listening to their unique stories and needs, you'll be the expert in creating personalized experiences that leave lasting impressions. THE STARTING RATE:$18.50 THE DAY-TO-DAY: Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on themenu Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweepand maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with necessary condiments Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Exceptional customer service skills Prior barista, cafe or grab & go experience Describes themselves as detail-oriented Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression Can handle multiple tasks at one time THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.
