PAY:$123,000 - $188,000

JOB SUMMARY:Seeking qualified analyst or subject matter expert with Integrated Tactical Warning & Attack Assessment (ITWAA) experience.Analyze software and hardware requirements to ensure feasibility of design and test Develop test procedures to verify requirements and to ensure deficiencies are adequately tested with new releases and upgrades. Generate test reports containing data analyses and operational acceptance recommendations. Direct and/or participate in all phases of test management with the emphasis on user requirements, test design and test execution methods. Analyze recorded data collected during test evaluations and report independent findings as prescribed by USSF guidance. Provide an independent assessment of how the system under test performs with regards to customer requirements and operational needs. Provide regular progress reports, either verbally or in written report form, of the ongoing evaluation throughout the entire test process as required. Location: Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station in Colorado Springs, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES:



  • Provide test support through development of documentation including Test Plan, Data Management and Analysis Plan, Test Execution Procedures, Test Report, and Detailed Analysis Report.
  • Build test scope using Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness and Suitability (MOEs/MOSs), and Measures of Performance (MOPs).
  • Develop test approach with the purpose of performing statistical analysis to evaluate system performance. Test approach will include the inclusion of scenario injection and real-world system operations.
  • Direct data collection activities and verify all required test objectives are complete. Evaluate data and assess system performance using the collected test data, the validated truth data, and the methodologies and tools developed during test planning.
  • Conduct analysis on collected data using data tools to characterize data and look for negative trends to determine system effectiveness.
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of maintenance data to determine suitability to meet reliability, availability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Support the development of surveys to be provided to system operators and maintainers to evaluate acceptability of human factors, documentation, training safety, and other areas as applicable.
  • Write technical reports to accurately describe problems encountered during testing, analysis techniques, and ratings for all measures.
  • Support the development and coordination of test reporting documents and test report briefings; present the evaluation results to the 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron, Detachment 2 for review; and ensure all documents and briefings comply with higher headquarters direction.
  • Assist other Test Engineers by reviewing and providing comments to test briefings and documentation.
  • 10% travel
  • Additional duties as assigned.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience with MATLAB and JMP data analysis programs (optional).
  • Understanding of Design of Experiments (DoE) fundamentals (optional).
  • Possess or can obtain working knowledge of USAF and USSF test and evaluation directives.
  • Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Able to use data reduction tools to analyze raw data and identify signification system deficiencies. Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • General knowledge in statics, to include data distributions, data sampling techniques, confidence intervals, and regression test techniques is desirable.
  • Background in Developmental or Operational Testing.



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:9 years of technical experience in DoD mission operations within the ITW/AA system-of-systems in the Missile Warning Center and/or the Missile and Space Domain operational environment.Requires hands-on system experience and intimate understanding of the following ITW/AA mission systems: Missile Analysis and Reporting System (MARS), Processing and Display Subsystem-Migration (PDS-M), and Missile Warning Theater Event System as part of the Combatant Commander Integrated Command and Control System (CCIC2S). Education and experience on other technical systems can be used in lieu of preferred experience.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:Bachelor's degree in math, science, technical field, or related subject preferred. Relevant operational experience can be used in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
