Windows Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled technical resource that thrives on supporting diverse environments while delivering superb customer service. This position requires the desire and discipline to be able to help customers troubleshoot user applications through the entire stack. Members of the Windows Engineering - Application group are expected to be able to drive alarm notifications and client-submitted tickets to resolution while working with the customer in a professional and client-first environment.

Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
• Responsible for the following technologies:
• Microsoft IIS
• Microsoft Terminal Services/ Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
• AppDynamics Monitoring/Performance testing
• Windows Server Operating Systems
• Familiar with the following skills:
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft Office 365
• DNS
• Mimecast / Anti-Spam products
• Linux Apache
• Microsoft SharePoint

• Intermediate understanding of enterprise networking concepts.
• Intermediate understanding of site functionality within IIS (tracing website to server, examining W3 logs, etc.)
• Intermediate understanding of load balancing concepts and troubleshooting.
• Intermediate understanding of ITIL concepts.
• Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and off hour maintenance responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of Virtualization environments including VMware and Hyper-V hypervisor
• Maintain a technical understanding of current and emerging products in relevant fields.
• Team oriented. Enjoys working with teammates and willing to jump in to assist issues and projects.
• Desire to improve upon existing systems and automate processes, including writing and maintaining documentation.
• One plus year experience in working with a programming language for use of developing scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

• Five plus year experience in relevant fields.
• Prior experience particularly in the data center industry

Pay Range $82,114.99 - $123,172.49
