Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator will closely interact with recruiters, candidates, hiring leaders and other human resources professionals to provide support for recruitment needs of the business. This position will be responsible for the management of candidate flow through the recruitment process from interview scheduling through on-boarding.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Two years of Human Resources experience or other relevant work experience is required.

  • Effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and initiate work activities for self as well as build and maintain effective working relationships with recruiters, management, candidates and general public
  • Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, analytical skills and proficient skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Working knowledge of applicable state/federal laws and regulations.
  • PeopleSoft and/or SuccessFactors experience preferred



Nuclear requirement: Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVNGS employees.

Major Accountabilities

1) Ensures end-to-end management of candidate experiences in a manner that enhances the company's employment brand.

2) Manage candidate flow through the recruitment process: Schedules interviews, conducts testing, organizes travel arrangements for candidates and coordinates interview process.

3) Reviews and screens applications/resumes and resumes for job requirements for open positions.

4) Coordination of the on-boarding process including new hire orientation coordination (new hire packets, goodie bags, set up meet and greet).

5) Serves as the Applicant Tracking System subject-matter-expert in order to ensure the system accurately reflects requisition and candidate activity for accurate reporting.

6) Ensures compliance with all policies/procedures.

7) Acts as back-up recruiter in recruiter's absence.

8) Effectively communicates status throughout all stages of the process.

9) Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Hybrid Role:
This position combines working in the office and at home, based on the needs of the business. The schedule will be determined with the hired employee and leadership, but the ultimate decision is the company's. Typically, the role is on site three of the four working days.

Any PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing during scheduled working hours. Employees, if off-site, must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified.
