Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Summary:
Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our growing Automation team. This individual will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium (C#) and MABL, while also playing a key role in mentoring and training QA team members on best practices and tool adoption. In partnership with the Automation Manager, this role will help strengthen testing standards, improve regression coverage, and support the advancement of automation capabilities across teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and functional testing using Selenium (C#) and MABL within the established automation frameworks.
- Guide and mentor QA team members in the use of the MABL platform and automation best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, system analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure automation coverage aligns with user stories, business requirements, and project goals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, helping to refine stories and ensure testability is part of definition-of-done.
- Conduct code reviews for automated test scripts and encourage adherence to coding and framework standards.
- Analyze manual test cases and functional specifications to define efficient and reusable automated solutions.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, processes, and team collaboration.
- Partner with the Automation Manager to identify opportunities for technical upskilling, coaching, and improved automation adoption across QA teams.
- Document test logic thoroughly to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Support DevOps integration of automation scripts using CI/CD tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Assist in fostering a collaborative and transparent culture within the team by promoting knowledge sharing, open communication, and continuous feedback.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer in a QA/Test Engineering role. REQUIRED.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Selenium-based automation scripts in C#. REQUIRED.
- Hands-on experience using MABL for test automation, including test creation, execution, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks, best coding practices, and design patterns (Page Object Model, keyword/data-driven frameworks).
- Proficient in C#, SQL, and experience testing RESTful APIs and SOAP services (ReadyAPI preferred).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins). PREFERRED.
- Working knowledge of Jira and Bitbucket (or equivalent source code repository tools). PREFERRED.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
- Knowledge of Life Insurance and/or Annuities is a plus.
- Experience with Python, mobile automation (Sauce Labs), or .NET development is a plus.
