Job Title: Rotating Equipment / Mechanical Reliability Specialist Location: East Chicago, IN Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/year + Bonus Schedule: Full-Time \| Travel: 15-20% Overview: Hiring a Rotating Equipment / Mechanical Reliability Specialist responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical system reliability at a single facility. The role includes hands-on maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and equipment performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on rotating and mechanical equipment Lead overhauls and inspections of compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and piping systems Provide onsite technical support for mechanical systems Assist with turnaround planning, cost estimates, and equipment troubleshooting Ensure safe and efficient operations with thorough documentation Requirements: 5+ years of experience with industrial rotating/mechanical equipment Background as a journeyman, millwright, machinist, or field service technician Skilled in precision alignment and use of diagnostic/measuring tools Strong problem-solving and communication skills Able to work independently in field conditions Preferred: Machinist or millwright apprenticeship, or Associate's in Mechanical Technology Experience with vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, and CMMS After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
