The Scripps Health ICU Transition Program creates an environment whereby experienced nurses can be transformed into safe and competent intensive care clinicians. The program fosters growth and learning through classroom lecture and testing, hands-on lab and simulation exercises, literature review and research assignments, as well as precepted and mentored clinical experiences. The classroom academic portion of the program reviews in depth each physiologic system including pulmonary, cardiovascular/hemodynamics, neuroscience, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, hematologic, and endocrine systems. At the end of this program, the bedside nurse, as a member of the ICU clinical team, will be able to provide safe, evidence-based, and integrated care to our most critically ill and injured patients. Important Dates Program: September 22, 2025 - December 13, 2025 Hiring managers will be reviewing applications and inviting select candidates to attend interviews during the interview period.
