Job Description

Duties:



  • Develop product requirements and marketing programs for capital equipment, instruments and disposables for use in stone and soft tissue management procedures
  • Plan new product introductions, including strategic positioning, pricing, promotion, training and education programs
  • Work with Regulatory Affairs, Research, and Engineering to receive foreign market approvals
  • Execute local commercial launches
  • Recruit, train and manage sales managers in each local market
  • Appoint and manage distributors in each territory
  • Plan and coordinate international partnerships
  • Develop educational seminars, group meetings, live presentations and facilitate white papers
  • Set up and manage local Key Opinion Leaders sites to support marketing initiatives, such as speaking engagements, product benchmark studies, testimonials, and training workshops
  • Generate and manage international sales forecast and budget for capital equipment and disposables (fibers, endoscopes, etc.)

Requirements

  • 15+ years international sales management and product marketing experience in Urology capital equipment or similar medical field
  • Personal direct sales experience of medical devices to hospitals, private offices and medical rental companies
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Working with medical and scientific opinion leaders
  • Familiar with clinical studies and regulatory approvals for medical devices



Personal Characteristics:



  • A proven performer and self-starter
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally; comfortable with both formal and extemporaneous presentations.
  • Technically proficient in the laser medical field or with high-tech medical devices
  • Confidence in discussing products and applications with medical professionals
