Job Overview
The role of the SME (TPM) is to provide day-to-day subject matter expertise supporting system's engineering, technical, systems implementation, training, and configuration management support for C5ISR systems support services, electronics and communications services and solutions in support of NIWC Atlantic initiatives. Work Model: Onsite
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and deliverables. Share project plans with stakeholders, while taking ownership of updating and improving tracking mechanisms.
- Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Promote and maintain communication between the project team and project sponsor, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report project progress as well as problems and solutions to stakeholders and escalate as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Track project performance to analyze successful completion of short and long-range goals. Identify delays and propose solutions to prevent future delays, while improving overall delivery schedule.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs. Evaluate and assess results of completed projects.
Accountable For:
- Ability to meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on various analysis.
- Ability to ensure customer satisfaction through project debrief with clients.
- Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork.
- Ability to have Thorough understanding of project management techniques and tools. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET Security Clearance.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- 15 years of relevant experience supporting systems engineering, technical, systems implementation, training, and configuration management support.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-hire background check and drug test.
