The Office of Information Technology is seeking a talented and motivated student to join our telecommunications team at Auburn University! As a telecommunications student, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to help maintain and improve the university's telecommunications systems. | Essential Functions |
- Assist in the testing of the campus Blue Light phones.
- Document telecommunications processes and procedures.
- Assist with ongoing Voice Communication projects including the collection of used desktop phones from around campus.

| Minimum Qualifications |
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
- Valid driver's license
Expectations:
- Strong technical skills and a desire to learn about telecommunications systems and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of computer networking and operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Collection of telecommunication devices from campus buildings
Physical Requirements:
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus required
- May be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
