As a Security Professional - Government Patrol in Valhalla, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.44 - $22.44 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to individuals at the government location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any security-related incidents.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with site management and emergency responders when required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and reporting any suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A valid New York Security Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
